We have been unofficially told that the CLA's release date will be Sept. the 20th

At training this week the S Class was also given the same date.

Well, now it makes sense. The 20th it's a friday which is more convenient for mercedes than a monday because obviously they could get much more customers during the weekend. Since the first time i read that 23rd was the release date, it never made sense, now it does.
It's just a DATE guys ! The cars cannot all appear at the dealership magically on the 20th. They will be getting them probably before that date so cars will be available for viewing or test drive on official release date.Well, now it makes sense. The answer will depend on whether your car is in the system on a dealer lot or needs to be built.

No we will not get them before the release date, release date means when they are released from port and officially available for sale.

No info on leasing and i doubt MB will offer any special as we have not had any on new cars in some time.

Thank you for the reply! 1000 is kind of blah since the C gets 2500 and it costs basically the same as the cla.
