Weird clanking sound when I accelerate or turn

Hey guys, I have a weird clanking sound (sounds like broken parts are hitting against each other) whenever I first start accelerating or when I take a sharp right turn. The sound comes from the front of the car and it’s usually louder when I turn. it’s the loudest when the car is cold and I start accelerating but the noise slowly gets quieter after a while. Nobody else hears this noise but me so it’s not a very loud noise. Has anyone had this problem? And what do I need to get fixed?

I drive a 2017 cla 250 4 matic
maybe run a cheap mic into the engine bay and record the odd acoustics?

or open the hood and right after ignition attempt to locate the source
I wish I could do that, I only here the sound while accelerating
I had something similar when a wheel got loose on my car. Didn't depend on the engine temperature though.

What did you end up doing?

Unfortunately this is one of the worst things that can happen to your car.
This requires dealer-level equipment to connect to the wheel's ECU and reset the error code. Ended up with a >$800 bill :-(

Just kidding.
I tightened the wheel bolts.

Hahaha, ok I’m gonna try it. Hopefully I that fixes it but I have doubts that’s the reason.
Sounds like a bad drive axle on the right side.
