Has anyone seen when dealers will begin accepting orders or when we can expect to see the CLA appearing at dealer lots?

OK, so I have one dealer telling me he cant configure my order but states the 4MATIC will be available in the summer of 2013. I have another dealer telling me I can place my order now for a refundable 500 deposit HOWEVER, the 4MATIC wont be available until JAN 2014. This conflicts alot of data ive been hearing. Has anyone ordered a 4MATIC 250 in the US that they are expecting to pick up this summer?

I know that in Canada they are accepting refundable deposits. Ordering sometime in April-May, September Manufacturing and October-November delivery. That is for the CLA250 FWD, for the 4Matic deliveries should start in April 2014
SO
By extrapolating the alleged ordering/deliveries in the Us which are April as well but with June or July delivery according to my dealer, the 4Matic should be in time for either Xmas gifts or Jan-Feb.

Please dont quote me on this though.

Put a refundable deposit down on February 4th. The dealer gave me no idea when we could actually write up an order. Since I'm in no hurry, I didn't push it. I'm still debating ordering the front wheel drive, which is supposed to be available Fall 2013 or wait for the 4Matic, available Spring 2014 . . . . and don't even get me started about colors :)!

here in california they have several large benz dealerships... im not putting any deposit down til i see this car in real and drive it..
i know this sounds silly, but i heard from the grapevine that the Monitor on the Dash was an afterthought and next years model may have a slight upgrade/change for the Monitor to be placed in (the monitor was a quick add on for apps like facebk, and other stuff missing was ie keyless go)... lots of people have remarked about it... like i said, it was a Rumor i heard and please dont shoot the messenger...

Could be but they've had the new B and the A before hand and they share the same interior so I think it's designed this way. plus I saw somewhere MB rep say in focus groups people prefer it to the motorized hide and popup. I kinda like it, no different than a standalone Nav unit and at least it's almost all screen and not a 4inch screen contoured by 2 inches of black plastic.

According to the dealer in richmond BC I visited about a week ago, they don't have any info on model spec. prices etc. until June. But they will take order with a deposit - that means you will paying the top price by taking the first lot of delivery.
I hope some of our members in Toronto can find out more from the Toronto Auto Show.

:music:quote from detroit autoshow

The LCD screen on the dash brings infotainment to the fore, but like the one in today's BMW 3-Series, it's not integrated into the dash, and looks more like an afterthought.

there lots others too i researched from youtube and articles...i sense a minor change in 2015 models... even my dentist drives a white cls and has a built in monitor for navi and stuff...
so i kinda agree it was an afterthought also...
but no biggie.... still looks very kool...im not complaining...
peace out:wink:..
enjoy the many photos on the article... mostly silver and red... sure wish they would promote the Violetta and other colors soon...
