Which wire?
Hey everyone! I received an illuminated star as a Christmas gift for my 2019 CLA 250 (night package halogen headlights) and the install seems super easy. But wondering if anyone knows which wire I should tap into? I want my star to only come on with the headlights (low beams) at night, they’re always on “Auto” can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

Can you imagine how much that post you guys put up is worth in dealer visit dollars??
No Joke the star itself at the dealership was almost 300 when they had to replace it from my front end wreck. to install you probably better think about selling a kidney.Can you imagine how much that post you guys put up is worth in dealer visit dollars??
I didn't realize you are running halogen lamps. JMC might be able to sort you out on the wire schematic.
@pa4ul - wow $300? sure hope you it originally for a lot less (still recall all those ebay specials at the time
@david_tattoos - you know a blinky star would be rather catchy!
no guarantee on correct wiring diagrams and we may go round and round what with all the funny color choices. consider a wire voltage probe to locate the marker lamp wire. also think about peeling back the wheel well plastic shroud may be easier to access the harness plug ... but if you can indeed reach the wires from the top then that saves some work
