I believe it will hit the Canada market but not at the same time. There will be a small delay.
I have done the same too. No response yet from them. Since Canada has the B Class, I am getting this uneasy feeling that MB Canada may not want to cannibalize those sales.. I am also a prospective customer if the CLA is made available here in 2014-2015I've sent an email to Mercedes Canada asking about the CLA. The thing I hate about MB Canada is that there is absolutely NO information on their website, but the US site has a TON of information.
MB Canada had better launch this on the same day as the US. Granted, I don't need a new car now, but my 03 C-Class is getting long in the tooth and I'd LOVE to see the price and specs of the AMG version. Rumour has it being released in the spring of 2014 and that jives well with my car buying time. If not the AMg, I'm hoping they release a 350 in the spring with more HP, around 280-300.
You could be right about the B, but it's a very different vehicle. People who have or are thinking of buying the B are not the people that Mercedes are going for with the CLA. Here's my question to MB Canada and here's what MB Canada said in their response.I have done the same too. No response yet from them. Well.. Good news .. Just did some more research and found this:
"Following a brief appearance on the eve of the NAIAS in Detroit (January 14-27, 2013), the CLA will have its official world premiere at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin (January 15-18, 2013). The new CLA will be available in Canadian dealerships in September 2013."

Well hopefully by the time 2014 rolls around, there are some better lease deals out there.. Will definitely be there for a test drive when its released.
Hi ati7X7,Its funny. I just recently leased a 2012 Infiniti G37S and I am already planning my next move hahaha but the CLA is nice at a low price point granted that we dont get shafted on Canadian pricing as usual... Well equipped it should stay around the $35K mark..
Its definitely not a high horsepower car. However, if someone really wants that they should be able to get it with the CLA AMG version.Hi ati7X7,
If you get use-to G37S, I think you may not like the CLA, as the G37S is much much more powerful than the 2 Litre CLA, also CLA lack of FOB key.
I am planning to replace my wife's C230 with CLA and she does not need a powerful car like I have the 2010 G37X.
Just my 2 cents !
I think he's talking about keyless entry/keyless start type stuff. What do you mean "CLA lack of FOB key"?
