Heh, thanks. Sadly, I found out that retrofitting isn't possible. Does anyone know what bulbs they use in there? Might be just easier to change the bulbs out for at least one color change. I'd like a while illuminated cabin personally speaking.

Quick question: Just picked up my 2018CLA - AMG package and have the ambient lighting option. Seems to work fine but when I open my doors after shutting the car off the light cycle through the colors...is this standard? thanks.

I'm waiting for my car....won't be picking it up until Friday. Do you know if all 2014 models don't come with the ambient light package? I'm looking at my build sheet with all the codes and I'm not sure what I'm even looking for. I see code U62 for Illumination package but I'm guessing this is not it. Wish I would have done more research. Either way if theres some sort of lighting I think I'll be okay. This does seem like a really neat little feature to have though!

Hi Flex, yes this is normal when you shut off the vehicle (well, it is normal in my car, so I assume that I am 'normal'!)
